Ease the distribution and automation of data review, correction, analysis and validation

When it comes to HMDA data, financial institutions are discovering high error rates, elevated costs, and a compliance department that bears the brunt of others mistakes.

We offer three fully-integrated modules to lenders who need to automate the collection of information from loan processors, underwriters, data entry staff, loan officers for mortgage data edits and provide an audit trail essential to monitor all changes.

Browser-Based Editing

This module makes those closest to the data accountable for it’s quality and readiness for submission by automating the existing manual data process. It significantly improves the accuracy and time to completion with the HMDA data collection process by allowing direct access to HMDA data via an Internet Browser.

Browser-Based Editing provides the following features:

  • Rapid set up for instant access — with no client-side installation required, the browser-based editor immediately installs on any Windows environment with Internet Explorer. Users can instantly access the most up-to-date format for HMDA data.
  • Secure remote administration — the powerful editor enables lenders to permit any number of staff to manage the compliance process safely and securely from their web browsers.
  • Increase productivity — by leveraging the power of the Internet, compliance officers and staff can share information to investigate, resolve and update specific data issues.
  • Customized views — lenders can control and manage individual access to data. Browser based tools can designate permission for detailed summary reports and specific LAR databases - to record level detail.

Historical Data Auditing

This module lets you track and report on all changes to HMDA data. The reporting analysis of historic data changes is critical to provide management visibility into the types and frequency of data modifications. This module allows users to search for system data integrity issues that may be traced to individual employee work styles and processes—identifying potential systemic issues that compromise data integrity.

Historical Database Auditing provides the ability to:

  • Actively monitor data access
  • Track the “who, when and what” of data modification
  • Roll back the loan application database to any point of time
  • Create management reports on user behavior

Browser-Based Auditing

This module ensures that what is in a loan file is actually what is in the system. Browser Based Auditing allows designated staff to review information in the physical loan application file against information captured in the system and document the results of each audit. Users can view a record, mark it if verified or ship it out if it needs further corrections. The auditing functionality can be tailored to internal requirements for auditing of loan applications. It is the perfect complement to the Historical Data Auditing module.
